Peony Pink Vanguard

A Peony that I actually secretly fell in love with. Pink Vanguard is really not the Peony with the most beautiful flowers, although that of course does not apply to its delicate color, which is in a class of its own. While putting together this beautiful collection of Peonies, I also visited a Peony show garden five or six times. During one of my first visits, hardly anything was blooming anymore, Pink Vanguard already showed a few cheerfully blooming flowers. The special thing is that she continued to do this until almost my last visit and every time she managed to attract my attention with her exuberant happy bloom. Each flower stem has at least two or three secondary flowers and they all open one by one. These late bloomers are mostly single-flowered with seductive open hearts, not as full as the main flower but 'wow' how she continues to shine. This Peony will definitely end up in my garden.
