Peony Angel Cheeks

What a nice and catchy name and if you see this lovely flower in real life in your garden you will immediately understand why it has been given such a tender name. Angel Cheeks is so beautiful that in 2005 it was awarded the gold medal by the American Peony Society for the most beautiful peony of the year. (By the way, a nice site to look at is 'americanpeonysociety.org'). Five years later it also received the gold medal from the same society for 'best peony for the garden'. It looks sweet and fragile but in the meantime Angel Cheeks with its soft character is just a tough peony.
