Peony Kansas

A sturdy peony with a tough name. Large flowers on sturdy stems, steal the show. Funny to read is that most suppliers describe this peony as a red peony. Color blind, can't be otherwise. But if you ask me what color it is, I have to owe you the answer. Dark fuchsia perhaps? In any case not red. Doesn't matter either, in full bloom this solid peony shows that it is there. Beautiful dark green leaves on dark stems and great, well-filled flowers.
