Peony Lancaster Imp

This short sturdy peony is often used in public gardens and city parks because of its richly reliable flowering. I have come across the Lancaster Imp many times and guess what… not a pretty photo. A snapshot of course but I don't think the Lancaster Imp would be happy if I showed it to you. If you don't have any visual material you will have to make do with words. When that happens to me I always think of that old man I once met when I was taking photos. He told me that you can sell much, much more with a good text than with a good photo. At first I didn't completely agree with that of course but, to be honest, at the end of the nice discussion I had to agree with him. He told me that you can lure people into a fantasy world with words. Once they get there and you tell them to imagine that this particular flower is the most beautiful heavenly blue they can imagine… A la, says the old man, I’ve got you now because I know for sure that the color that all your readers are now imagining is nine times out of ten many times more beautiful than the color blue in your photo. Brilliant, just a pity that Lancaster Imp is white :-) Good Peony, feel free to plant it.
