Peony Julia Rose (Itoh)

Many peonies have the property of changing colour slightly during flowering. Some Itoh peonies in particular do this like no other. Not always equally beautiful, they can sometimes fade, but with the Julia Rose the changing colour of her flower is a party. Every pastel shade she shows is candy for the eye. But the combination of the different pastels of flowers that are younger and older on one and the same plant is really fantastic. All shades melt together into a unique whole.
