Peony Francoise Ortegat

That is a beautiful new Peony I thought when I first saw her. Beautiful flower, rare color with a vintage character and as icing on the cake a delicious scent. When I delved deeper into her, it turned out that there was little truth to that new, she is as old as Methuselah. More than 150 years old and for a long time she had disappeared from the scene but fortunately she has always been preserved by real enthusiasts. She has been rediscovered and here and there again among the Peony growers. We can once again fully enjoy this historical Peony with her old-fashioned color and classic Peony scent.
