Peony Eliza Lundy

What kind of Peony is this going to be I thought during one of my first visits to the Peony show garden when I saw the Eliza Lundy in bud. Exciting looking, dark, like balls of wool twisted together, wine red buds. A few days later I had to look twice to be sure that it was the same Peony, they had completely changed color and there was no trace of her special twisted buds to be seen. Still incredibly beautiful, both in color and shape. A short sturdy Peony with a bright red.
