Peony Dinner Plate

The word 'Dinnerplate' in flowers actually always has only 1 meaning; we are dealing with a large flower. In this case that is also the case, the Peony Dinnerplate is excessively large. Although I do think that if its flower had not been so excessively large, this Dinnerplate would also have easily passed the selection procedure of the breeder because its flower is also very beautiful in color and shape. A small disadvantage of its size is that towards the end of its flowering, when the flowers open completely, they do need a bit of support to stay upright. But yes, on the other hand, a fallen flower always ends up in a vase...also beautiful.
