It is often called Allium siculuum or as it used to be called, Allium bulgaricum, and it is closely related to the ornamental onions. The nectaroscordum is a bit of a party animal among flowers with cheerfully dangling bells that, when they have finished blooming and are forming seeds, stand straight up like a pointed hat. Beautiful to plant loosely through the plant border.
