Planting flower bulbs in pots
We have also collected a number of tips for planting flower bulbs in pots. It is actually largely the same as flower bulbs in the ground, but a few extra tips are of course never a bad thing.
- Plant the bulbs deep enough in the pot, with at least 5 cm of soil on top of the bulb.
- Make sure the pot does not dry out in winter, even if the bulbs are underground the roots need water.
- In case of severe frost it is better to cover the pot with leaves, straw, a tarpaulin or something similar. If it freezes for a long time the pots can dry out considerably which can cause frost damage to the bulbs, and this is how that is prevented.

We wish everyone good luck with spring planting!
Kind regards,
Carlos
