Wedding Gift

Once upon a time… a good friend who was a bulb grower asked me to come and see a new Tulip. According to him, this Tulip would be beautiful and her name was Wedding Gift. When he took me to a large field with large pink Tulips, I was quite surprised; I really expected Wedding Gift to be a bright white Tulip. But then again, the bulb grower was a hard-working hardened bachelor. You couldn’t really blame him for not yet having put the finishing touches on romance. But even though she wasn’t white, she was beautiful. What a perky Tulip and what large, beautifully colored flowers. In full bloom, the pink is a true play of colors, when the sun shines on it, the petals turn soft pink with silver edges, when the sun isn’t there, you see all kinds of soft red hues appear. This beautiful Tulip will find her way, and the grower now lives happily with her husband and has a wonderful daughter… a fairy tale. (But the opportunity to give him a Wedding Gift hasn’t happened yet)
