Vendée Globe

A colourful Tulip with a colourful name, after all, it is named after the most prestigious sailing competition in the world. If you participate in the Vendee Globe, you have to sail around the world as a solo sailor non-stop without mooring anywhere and without outside help. The fastest time ever achieved was by the Frenchman François Gabart in his boat Macif. In the 2013 race he did it in 78 days, 2 hours, 16 minutes and 40 seconds!!!
