Palmyra

Every time I come across this Tulip I walk over to see if it really is the Tulip Palmyra. This Tulip manages to look different every time. The sunlight has such an influence on her, it is as if she puts on a different colour every time the sun starts to shine again. When it is cloudy she shows herself with a rich chestnut brown hue, when the sunlight touches her she lights up and shows a fantastic play of colours of magenta, indigo, vermilion and all kinds of indescribable and beautiful intermediate shades.
