A Tulip originating from the Japanese Toyama and named after the legendary Zen Buddhist Haku'un. About 500 km north of Tokyo between Toyama and Niigata quite a few Tulips are grown, we Dutch are really not the only ones who can do it.
This tulip is proof of their skill. An extremely reliable tulip in the purest white. When I was there about ten years ago I took her with me and started growing a batch. Hakuun, for a Japanese relaxing atmosphere in the garden.
