Tropic Isle

After I put the spring flowering bulbs on the Fluwel website in the spring, I always take the time to write texts for them. At the moment we go 'live', around mid-May, there are still many new varieties in the shop without text.

A little explanation about the new varieties or a nice story is always appreciated and motivates our customers to try something new. But about Tropic Isle I would better not write anything at all because a good three weeks after it first became available it was almost sold out.

Perhaps our customers think exactly the same as Eric Breed always says when they see this Daffodil called Tropic Isle: 'if only you were there' and that is why you want her in your garden so much.

Anyway, Tropic Isle is fortunately a Narcissus from our own nursery so I could increase the stock a bit. But if the enthusiasm for this Narcissus really remains this great I might have to pull her back for a year next year to let the bunch grow a bit again. No problem, I am incredibly happy that Tropic Isle is being received so well and actually I understand why; she is just beautiful.
