Queen Beatrix

What an honor that one of our own Daffodils may bear this name. It was a flower bulb man in heart and soul who asked the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital in Amsterdam if he could, in gratitude for the good care for his wife, christen a Daffodil Queen Beatrix.

Former Queen Beatrix is ​​the patroness of this world-famous hospital. The question was whether he could do this as a tribute to the large club of kind and caring volunteers who make the lives of many patients so pleasant. They found the request beautiful and moving; after all, the logo of the volunteer association is a Narcissus. The request was whether the volunteers themselves could choose the Narcissus.

How glad I was that they picked out this Narcissus for us. I really thought it was our most beautiful yellow trumpet Narcissus, they really couldn't have chosen a better one.

Beautiful in shape, rich in color and a regal appearance. This Narcissus has a beautiful future ahead of it, it has been lovingly selected by lovely people who do nothing but give love ... and then such a beautiful name. I sincerely hope that it will also be planted with love in your garden.
