Narcissus Jumblie, 12 YO, Alec Gray, 1952

Jumblie is the pretty sister of the most cultivated narcissus Tete a Tete. She never became so famous because she is less suitable for large-scale cultivation: she produces less plant material and is somewhat more sensitive to viruses. But for a hobby grower like me, who does not mind a slightly smaller yield and who can happily give a little more attention to a variety, that is no problem. As a gardener you will also enjoy Jumblie more, if you plant her she will reward you with an abundance of flowers and she will amaze you as long as she is in bloom. Jumblie is the miniature narcissus for an early and cheerful spring.
