A large proportion of the yellow feral Daffodils you see in early spring are this species. Carlton has been by far the most widely grown and most widely used large yellow Daffodil over the last 40 years.
Every now and then a bulb will rot from the bulbs you buy, because she is very sensitive to that. But once planted in your garden or along the road, Carlton is extremely strong and indestructible.
