Students at the Agricultural University in Wageningen won these Tulips. Growth power and disease resistance was the assignment of Professor Jaap van Tuyl to his plant breeding students. Van Tuyl has a good reputation among Tulip growers because he and his students have already brought many good Tulips onto the market. Among others, the 'Impression' Tulips and the 'Van Eijk' Tulips come from his hand, with the help of students.
He was also able to give his students the right guidelines and advice for the 'Delight' Tulips, which resulted in another beautiful series of Tulips.
They all have the same flowering time, the same flower shape and they are all in the pink-red corner of the color spectrum. I liked them all individually but when an American customer asked me to try them mixed we were sold. 'They are made for eachother' my customer said.
