This luxurious lily, originally from Japan, was already widely planted in Victorian gardens in the 19th century. She was called the Queen of Lilies. With her large, beautifully colored and fragrant flowers, she is still an eye-catcher in the garden.
Do not plant her in full sun, half shade or even better filtered light. She likes humus-rich, somewhat acidic soil that does not get too wet in the winter months. If she is happy in the garden she will come back for years.
