Ipheions are known for their fantastic intense blue colour that is rarely seen, especially in spring. Charlotte Bishop is not going to help you with that, she is an odd duck in the Ipheion pond. Still, she is definitely worth planting. She does just as well as the other Ipheions and her flowers also have a fairly unique colour.
It can grow wild in sunny spots where it is not disturbed. It is also a beauty as an annual in borders or flower boxes, with its special lavender pink colour.
