The Hyacinthoides non-scripta is a wild bluebell and is also called the 'English Blue Bells'. In England it is common as a wild growing bulbous plant.
I therefore always advise English garden enthusiasts to plant these instead of the refined forms of the Hyacinthoides, in order to ensure that the species occurring in England are mixed as little as possible with the refined forms.
