I can't help it, but when I see this terribly beautifully shaped and lovely softly colored Dahlia, I just get curious about the Nathalie this Dahlia is named after. If I had to guess, I would say that she is named after the newborn daughter or granddaughter of the person who won this Dahlia. The Sweet Nathalie radiates nothing but tenderness, vulnerability and love, almost unique in the flower world, so beautiful. Her plant shows little of all these gentlenesses, she is just a sturdy healthy plant that can easily take a beating.
