Dahlia Polka

I have a soft spot for Dahlias with this type of flowers. These Dahlias with their inviting, open flowers are called Anemone flowers. Where many Dahlias do their utmost to look as neat as possible with tight flowers, on Sundays, these so-called Anemone flowers are somewhat freer and happier, somewhat looser and more cheerful. To dance the Polka with this Dahlia, the hedge does not have to be pruned so neatly and neat edges along the grass are not really necessary. When the Polka comes into bloom with its many happy flowers, it is still a party in the garden and not so much attention is paid to it.
