Staying alive. Ah ha ha ha Staying alive... back in 1936 a certain Mr. Hemerik brought this Dahlia onto the market and it is still alive. And boy, what a wonderful airy, happy Dahlia. I know, you either love it or hate it, that is what its colour and flower shape bring with it. Tastes differ. But when I see it I always get excited, cheerful and happy. I think it is fantastic. Nice and short and a flowery bloom with floppy flowers of a unique salmon orange, really a Dahlia to give a nice spot at the front of the border. Keep picking faded flowers, if you take good care of it you will be rewarded with an abundance of flowers.
