Cyclataz

Cyclataz has only known for being the mother of a world star in the field of flower bulbs. You understand, I am talking about the Narcissus Tete a Tete. Never before has a flower bulb been grown that has covered a larger surface area over the years than the Tete a Tete. Since the year 2000, more than 500 hectares of the Tetten, as it is called by the bulb growers, have been planted every year.

I think it is time to put the mother of Tete a Tete, the Cyclataz, in the spotlight. And here because: Cyclataz is much more beautiful, much nicer, she is shorter, she is sturdier, she blooms much richer and also blooms much longer than her daughter with all her star allures.

You are probably wondering why Cyclataz has not had a successful career. Well, that is because her daughter knows how to please the bulb growers better; she multiplies much faster which makes her cheaper to produce.

For me that is no reason not to grow Cyclataz at our nursery, I like oldies and oldies may well cost a little extra.

For the real Narcissus lovers; Cyclataz owes its name to the fact that it originated from a cross between the Cylamineus Narcissus and the Tazetta Narcissus Cycla-Taz.
