Scarlet is seen as a 'high red' colour and yes, it is yet another double red Amaryllis in the Fluwel assortment. But just as there are 50 shades of grey, you can also speak of 50 shades of red with the Amaryllises.
Scarlet Belle really belongs, I can't leave her out, she's really too good for that. Not the most floriferous double red Amaryllis, 3 or 4 flowers per stem, but always a third stem.
In addition, its large and graceful, finely filled flowers, together with its deep red colour, make it a very special double red Amaryllis.
