'It seems like everyone wants this Amaryllis of mine', said grower Ben van Geest to me when I went to have a cup of coffee with him. He wished he had three times as many.
I can understand it very well, this Amaryllis has something exotic. Mystica is clearly a descendant of the species Amaryllis papillio originating from the tropical rainforests. Like no other, this Amaryllis knows how to translate the wilderness of the grandiose South American Amazon region.
Mystica is a profusely flowering Amaryllis with larger and fuller flowers than the papillio and other cybister Amaryllises.
