I am often asked if there is a sale at the end of a season. The answer to this question is always the same: We always plant leftover bulbs ourselves in the Fluwel show garden.

Next to our barn is a piece of land where we plant a small flower paradise every year. All the species that we offer in the Fluwel webshop are planted there. Many new species are also planted there. Many growers give some bulbs of their newest species to bring them to our attention.

The Fluwel show garden, located next to our barn, is freely accessible to the public at all times. So if you are ever in the area; you are most welcome. The best time is from mid-April to mid-May. But it is also beautiful in August and September when all the Dahlias and Zantedeschias are in full bloom.

You can also visit our show garden by taking a ride on the flower bulb tram. This tram leaves from the Land van Fluwel and makes a guided tour through the bulb fields. At the show garden it always stops for a moment and you can walk between the tulips and other flower bulbs. The tram also stops at my daffodil nursery where you can view hundreds of types of daffodils .

But getting back to the discount, there are a few more reasons why we don't give a discount;

All our prices are, from the beginning of each sales season, as low as possible. Also types that I know will be very popular we will not offer for extra high prices.

For the regular assortment we will not build in an extra margin so that we can give a discount later in the season. We offer good quality bulbs that we always deliver true to type for a reasonable price that is the same from the beginning to the end of the season.

Kind regards,

Carlos
