Calm before the storm Reading The best buns 3 minutes Next Piens Newsletter

The best buns,

Today I could of course come up with another story along the lines of 'The slightly overweight man on his bike with four currant buns on his handlebars' but I also have to try every now and then to get you excited about our beautiful flower buns. So today no currant buns but flower buns.

Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised by the Drumsticks, this 'little' Allium was blooming so happily in our trial garden, I thought everyone should have this Allium in their garden.

I have to say something about that in my newsletter. A bit further pondering I thought; what if I had to make a flower bulb gift for a good friend, which bulbs would I give her?
I'm sure the Allium sphaerocephalon would be there. This cheerful onion doesn't cost a dime and you'll really get maximum enjoyment out of it. Within a minute I had about 10 other types in mind that I would definitely include in the gift. Below they are, all as I like to call them 'Meat and Potato' bulbs. They all do what they're supposed to do: bloom so exuberantly that you'll be happy. They often also naturalise like the best. I won't write much text this time because the weather is nice and I want to go outside, dig up Daffodils in the field. For more text and explanation you can of course always read more in our webshop.
